As a Senior Assistant Manager for Group Hospitality Services , you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Oversee end-to-end food service operations, including control room, stores, catering, dishing, and assembly functions to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Manage manpower planning, including hiring, deployment, and mobilisation to support operational needs.
  • Coordinate and ensure staff training and vaccination compliance in line with regulatory and organisational requirements.
  • Administer and oversee food service contracts, monitoring vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual and service standards.
  • Identify and manage food safety, workplace safety, and fire safety risks, ensuring robust emergency preparedness and business continuity plans are in place.
  • Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and production teams to support inpatient, staff, and catering meal services.
  • Lead and support ad-hoc projects and initiatives focused on workflow improvement, process harmonisation, automation, waste reduction, and sustainability.
  • Manage and resolve escalated patient feedback and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Prepare and submit monthly food service reports for management review.
  • Conduct monthly contract payment verification for stewarding services.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and record-keeping in accordance with organisational standards.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

  • Degree in Food & Beverage Management, Hospitality, Nutrition, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience in a hospital, hospitality, or high-volume food service environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and perform under tight timelines.
