As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures aligned with MAS TRM guidelines

  • Perform regular risk assessments, update the technology risk register, and track remediation of identified gaps

  • Ensure PDPA compliance for personal data, including leading data protection impact assessments

  • Implement and oversee security monitoring across cloud infrastructure, CRM, endpoints, and network perimeter

  • Monitor, prioritize, and respond to security alerts and incidents; maintain and test the incident response plan

  • Manage EDR, email security, DNS filtering, and firewall rule sets

  • Conduct regular vulnerability scans and coordinate timely patching across all platforms

  • Oversee IAM, including MFA, conditional access policies, and privileged access reviews

  • Harden cloud environments (App Services, Storage, Networking) and review security configurations

  • Assess and secure third-party integrations, APIs, and external partners

  • Manage SSL/TLS certificates, encryption standards, and secure data transmission

  • Support secure development practices and review code or configurations for security issues

  • Design and deliver security awareness training for all staff across both entities

  • Run phishing simulations and track improvement metrics

  • Act as the primary security advisor for business teams

 

 

Requirements

  • 3–5 years hands-on cybersecurity experience, ideally in regulated sectors like finance or insurance

  • Practical familiarity with MAS TRM Guidelines and PDPA requirements

  • Hands-on experience with Azure security: Microsoft Defender for Cloud, Entra ID (Azure AD), Conditional Access, and NSGs
