As an Assistant Manager, Finance (Clinical Support), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Support clinical departments in identifying, designing, and developing data analytics models to generate actionable insights for business decision-making.
  • Provide guidance on charge code creation, ensuring proper application of service and charge rules to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness.
  • Prepare accurate and timely departmental financial reports to support analysis and decision-making processes.
  • Analyse key focus areas such as the impact of new service codes, fee revisions, workload trends, and NPR trends for various stakeholders.
  • Develop data analytics strategies and data collection frameworks, including ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, data interpretation, and result analysis.
  • Build and maintain connectivity to visualization and AI tools, and develop standardized templates for recurring financial and operational reports (e.g., quarterly P&L, AH&P, inpatient and outpatient reports, OT margin reports).
  • Monitor and track performance metrics for key initiatives, contributing to continuous improvement efforts and decision effectiveness.
  • Apply charge code logic and financial governance principles to ensure departmental efficiency and cost optimization.
  • Develop or implement tools to automate the preparation and presentation of metrics through dashboards, presentations, and reports.

Requirements

  • Degree/Post-graduate in Accounting & Finance, Business, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science or Mathematics, Economics, or related fields. 
  • Proficient in the use of SQL, Python, MS Excel (Advanced), Data Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau)
