As a Nurse Manager (Urgent Care Centre), you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Provide clinical leadership and oversee the delivery of safe, evidence-based nursing care in a high-acuity environment.
• Ensure compliance with clinical protocols, emergency response standards, infection prevention and control practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee medication safety practices, controlled drug management, documentation accuracy, and audit readiness.
• Lead clinical governance initiatives, including incident reporting, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Guide and support nursing staff through coaching, mentoring, competency assessments, and professional development initiatives.
• Develop, review, and maintain nursing policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and clinical guidelines.
• Support doctors during clinical procedures and provide direct nursing care when required.
• Participate in staff education, competency training, and continuous professional development initiatives.
• Monitor the effectiveness of training programmes and support the application of clinical competencies.
• Provide rostered shift coverage, including weekends, public holidays, and night duties, where operationally required.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Post-basic qualifications in Emergency Nursing, Critical Care, or Healthcare Management will be an advantage.
• Relevant nursing experience with demonstrated leadership or management responsibilities in an acute care, emergency, urgent care, or similar clinical setting is preferred.
• Comfortable working on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, based on operational requirements.
