As a Head, Procurement, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Design and execute comprehensive procurement strategies that align with organizational objectives and budget guidelines.
  • Drive initiatives to identify cost‑reduction opportunities and enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Ensure full compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the procurement team to deliver effective sourcing and purchasing operations.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure advantageous terms and conditions.
  • Oversee the complete procurement lifecycle, including supplier selection, negotiations, contract administration, and purchase order management.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery, quality standards, and cost efficiency.
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking to uncover new sourcing opportunities and mitigate supply chain risks.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams — including business units, finance, legal, and IT — to streamline procurement processes.
  • Track procurement KPIs, prepare analytical reports, and provide actionable insights to senior leadership for strategic decision‑making.
  • Uphold compliance with corporate policies, legal requirements, and industry best practices across all procurement activities.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes, systems, and performance.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in IT procurement would be preferred.
  • Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPSM, CIPS)
  • Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, contract negotiation, and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in IT procurement.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
