As an Epidemiologist, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Lead infectious disease surveillance to enable early detection and rapid response to outbreaks, including healthcare-associated and nosocomial infections.
Operate and manage comprehensive disease surveillance systems, extracting and analysing data from institutional databases and dashboards.
Serve as a key liaison between clinical operations and public health authorities, ensuring compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) directives.
Conduct literature reviews on emerging infectious diseases and evolving public health policies to inform surveillance and response strategies.
Generate routine and enhanced surveillance reports for internal and external stakeholders, translating data into actionable insights.
Support outbreak investigations, including contact tracing, risk assessment, and post-exposure management of staff, visitors, and vendors.
Assist in preparing presentations, research abstracts, and manuscripts to support knowledge sharing and dissemination.
Participate in departmental education programmes, inter-departmental meetings, and perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
