As a Clinical Instructor, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate clinical training and supervision programs for nursing and care staff in assigned clinical areas.
- Develop, deliver, and assess classroom and clinical curricula to enhance staff competency and professional development.
- Conduct clinical teaching, supervision, elder care rounds, and competency assessments in compliance with SNB, AIC and organization standards.
- Evaluate trainees’ clinical performance, provide structured feedback, and prepare final assessment and evaluation reports.
- Identify learning needs, knowledge gaps, and competency issues, and implement strategies to strengthen clinical reasoning and reflective practice.
- Serve as a clinical resource and mentor, guiding junior nurses in managing complex elder care cases and clinical emergencies.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and training departments to address performance issues, improve clinical learning environments, and promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Support quality and governance initiatives through educational audits, review of supervision frameworks and competency guidebooks, SOP updates, and participation in projects or committee work.
Requirements:
- At least Degree in Nursing
- Must be registered with Singapore Nursing Board
- Possess Certificate in Clinical Instructorwill be an advantage
