As a Assistant Manager, Food Services, you will be responsible for the following duties:
• Coordinate and deploy staff effectively to support daily operations.
• Ensure F&B Assistants generate daily meal summaries and patient menu chits through EMOS.
• Oversee food dishing and tray assembly activities to ensure compliance with established SOPs.
• Ensure catering for events is prepared and delivered according to the requirements provided by event organisers.
• Ensure all staff strictly comply with SOPs and relevant regulatory requirements, including MUIS, ISO22000, MOH, and WSH standards.
• Ensure F&B Assistants conduct twice-daily temperature monitoring for chillers and freezers, and promptly inform the Facility Manager (FM) if temperatures fall outside the acceptable range. Activate BCP procedures when necessary.
• Provide and coordinate adequate training for all F&B Assistants.
• Conduct random checks and approve monthly timesheets for F&B staff.
• Support the Manager in day-to-day food service operations, including meal dishing and tray assembly when required.
• Prepare and submit monthly Food Service reports required by management.
• Monitor, implement, and evaluate vendor contracts to ensure proper approvals, billing accuracy, and documentation are maintained.
• Ensure all documentation and records are properly maintained and updated.
• Carry out any other duties or instructions assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements:
- Possess Degree Holder of discipline related to Food & Beverage Management / Hospitality/ Nutrition.
