As a Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Management), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lead and manage Facilities Management, Engineering, and Operations projects from planning through completion.
  • Ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care (EOC) for patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Manage Repair & Replacement (R&R) projects.
  • Oversee maintenance of existing buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
  • Supervise preventive maintenance works carried out by outsourced service providers.
  • Plan and implement maintenance and improvement programs for building systems and equipment.
  • Develop work plans to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Provide project updates, reports, and recommendations to management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizen).
  • Review and improve maintenance contracts.
  • Support shift coverage when required.
  • Lead and manage projects across integrated operations.
  • Support departmental audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of project management experience.
