As a Mechanical Engineer (Facilities Management), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Lead and manage Facilities Management, Engineering, and Operations projects from planning through completion.
- Ensure a safe and conducive Environment of Care (EOC) for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Manage Repair & Replacement (R&R) projects.
- Oversee maintenance of existing buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
- Supervise preventive maintenance works carried out by outsourced service providers.
- Plan and implement maintenance and improvement programs for building systems and equipment.
- Develop work plans to improve system reliability and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate and collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders.
- Provide project updates, reports, and recommendations to management.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives (e.g. Kaizen).
- Review and improve maintenance contracts.
- Support shift coverage when required.
- Lead and manage projects across integrated operations.
- Support departmental audits, inspections, and accreditation activities.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with at least 2 years of project management experience.
