As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Participate in user engagement workshops to provide subject matter expertise throughout the hospital design planning process, with the goal of optimizing patient journeys and enhancing overall patient experience.
- Lead strategic discussions on the development roadmap of a new hospital, covering areas such as clinical service planning, infrastructure development, and resource planning.
- Work closely with consultants, medical planners, and internal stakeholders to develop service flow designs and planning parameters that align with the project's strategic objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and coordinate stakeholder meetings to gather project requirements and define methodologies, technologies, and assumptions for effective project delivery.
- Develop end-user briefs, operational requirements, guidelines, and workflows, organizing sessions to collect user input and validate new care models through virtual simulations and physical prototypes.
- Prepare comprehensive business cases to obtain approvals for infrastructure expansion and related funding.
- Monitor and track progress across multiple work streams and planning areas, providing timely updates to senior management and escalating issues when necessary.
- Prepare regular progress reports for submission to the hospital development committee.
- Organize and lead initiatives related to the planning and development of general and community hospital facilities.
- Oversee the implementation of operational models in alignment with service delivery goals and care models, ensuring compliance with budgetary constraints and regulatory guidelines.
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, including booking venues, preparing agendas, recording minutes, arranging catering, and maintaining shared electronic and manual filing systems.
- Manage procurement and payment requests as needed.
- Undertake any additional projects or tasks assigned by the reporting officer.
Requirements:
- Min Bachelor's Degree
- Proven track record in project management
- Experience in Healthcare/Operations management
