As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Assess physical, cognitive, and emotional needs of patients
- Develop personalized treatment plans to improve daily functioning
- Provide therapeutic interventions (exercises, adaptive techniques, assistive tools)
- Recommend environmental adaptations for safety and accessibility
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals (doctors, therapists, etc.)
- Educate patients and families on techniques for improved independence
- Track and document patient progress
- Specialize in areas like pediatrics, geriatrics, or neurological rehabilitation
- Provide guidance and precept junior staff
- Any ad-hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in Occupational Therapy and possess a full registration with Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
