As a Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Perform hands-on routine and scheduled inspections, monitoring, and checks across various building services and facilities.

• Carry out installation, troubleshooting, and both preventive and corrective maintenance on air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation (ACMV) systems, electrical systems (power and lighting), fire protection systems, building management systems (BMS), and plumbing and sanitary systems.

• Respond promptly to system breakdowns, complaints, feedback, and tenant service requests related to building services and facilities.

• Perform necessary repair works and submit relevant service or maintenance reports to the Manager.

• Inspect, supervise, and monitor contractors to ensure all maintenance, repair, and replacement works are completed properly and in accordance with the prescribed scope of work and technical specifications.

• Oversee contractor activities to ensure adherence to approved method statements, risk assessments, and workplace safety requirements.

• Perform hands-on handyman and reactive maintenance tasks, including minor electrical, plumbing, and sanitary repairs.

• Monitor and manage inventory levels, and submit requisitions for materials and parts as needed.

• Lead a team of technicians in managing all M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) and operational matters, providing guidance on troubleshooting and on-site issue resolution.

• Any other ad hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Possess a min of Diploma in Engineering / Facilities management or equivalent
