As an Assistant Manager (Redevelopment), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Assist in the planning and implementation of redevelopment projects and the establishment of project management systems and tools
  • Work closely with senior leadership to plan and execute redevelopment initiatives supporting capacity building and service planning across multiple sites
  • Support procurement of consultancy and construction packages in accordance with organisational standards and governance requirements
  • Review and endorse project schedules, method statements, material submissions, and permits to work during the construction phase
  • Develop and implement project governance frameworks, policies, and processes for effective project delivery
  • Oversee and manage consultants and contractors to ensure compliance with contractual terms, timelines, and quality standards
  • Develop and execute communication plans to ensure timely stakeholder engagement and coordination
  • Communicate project updates, milestones, risks, and potential challenges to stakeholders and leadership
  • Collaborate with leadership to align redevelopment and innovation initiatives with organisational strategies and objectives
  • Engage stakeholders to conduct feasibility studies for renovation and redevelopment projects
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and manage project budgets aligned with approved scope and objectives
  • Perform any other duties or tasks as assigned by the reporting officer.

Requirements

  • Degree in Architecture, Building, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience in public sector or healthcare infrastructure projects

  • Strong technical competency with proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project; experience in BIM and SketchUp is an added advantage

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, work as a team player, and manage multiple tasks concurrently.
