As a Manager (Grants Management), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Identify, cultivate, and secure private grant funding from foundations, corporates, and institutional donors.
  • Develop persuasive grant proposals, applications, and fundraising pitches aligned with organizational mission and funder priorities.
  • Maintain and grow a pipeline of potential funders, proactively sourcing new opportunities to meet annual grant acquisition targets.
  • Negotiate grant terms and agreements to ensure alignment with organizational objectives and program needs.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with grant funders, corporate partners, and philanthropic organizations.
  • Advocate for the organization’s mission by effectively communicating program impact to funders and stakeholders.
  • Represent the organization at networking events, donor meetings, and industry forums to broaden funding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with programme leads to align funding requirements with programme delivery and impact measurement.
  • Serve as the key liaison between funders and programme teams to balance compliance needs with effective programme implementation.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of timely, accurate impact and financial reports to funders.
  • Work closely with programme teams to track deliverables and ensure compliance with funder expectations.
  • Coordinate with finance and programme teams to monitor budget usage and ensure funds are utilised according to grant agreements.

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in securing and managing private grants, including grant writing and fundraising.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills to engage and advocate with funders and partners.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially in crafting proposals and preparing donor reports.
