Job Description

As an Assistant Director of Nursing (Nursing Home), you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Lead and oversee the planning, development, coordination, and evaluation of nursing services in alignment with the Nursing Home’s goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with nursing standards and regulatory requirements set by MOH and the Singapore Nursing Board across the nursing home cluster.
  • Support the DON in implementing new programs and initiatives to address residents’ needs and service gaps.
  • Ensure appropriate manpower planning, staff deployment, and skills mix across all shifts and services.
  • Drive cost-effective operations while maintaining high standards of care and service outcomes.
  • Promote evidence-based nursing practices and continuous quality improvement.
  • Monitor residents’ needs and healthcare trends to enhance service delivery.
  • Ensure updated job descriptions, policies, procedures, and work processes are maintained and accessible.
  • Lead staff development, training, and competency upgrading initiatives through formal and in-house learning programs.
  • Oversee the Training Department to ensure healthcare staff are equipped to meet operational and client needs.
  • Perform any other duties assigned by Management.

Requirements:

  • At least a Degree in Nursing.
  • Valid certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
  • Must be fully registered with Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
