As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following duties:

• Manage and oversee budgets, financial reporting, grant administration, and audits, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
• Provide accurate and timely financial analysis to support strategic decision-making across the organization.
• Support fundraising initiatives and work closely with program managers to ensure effective allocation and utilization of funds.
• Prepare financial and strategic presentation materials for board meetings and other senior leadership engagements.
• Manage banking and treasury functions, including cash flow monitoring and investment oversight.
• Participate actively in the Charity Programmes Committee, contributing to program planning and execution.
• Ensure robust governance practices and full compliance with the Charities Act and relevant statutory requirements.
• Provide secretariat support for Board meetings, including meeting coordination, documentation, and minutes taking.
• Approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and payments in alignment with established policies and budgetary guidelines.
• Undertake additional ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned to support organizational needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience in financial management or a related area.
• Prior experience in a charitable or non-profit organization is preferred.
