As an Engineering Assistant (Biomedical Engineering), you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Provide technical support for hospital staff in using, maintaining, and retiring medical equipment.
- Supervise vendors and contractors to ensure proper maintenance and quality work.
- Gather feedback from users on equipment performance and maintenance regularly.
- Investigate equipment faults, complaints, or safety issues and assist engineers in planning solutions.
- Ensure all work follows hospital standards and quality guidelines.
- Manage spare parts and tools for technical support, and help with stock records.
- Help engineers coordinate with vendors and contractors for equipment projects.
- Carry out other tasks assigned by BME engineers.
Requirements:
- Higher National ITE Certificate (Higher NITEC) in Engineering discipline and above.
- 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair.
