As a IT Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Provide day-to-day support for business applications and databases, resolving issues and implementing enhancements.
  • Translate business needs into data requirements and system specifications.
  • Design and maintain database frameworks and data models for reporting and data extraction.
  • Support system upgrades, patches, enhancements and database migrations.
  • Manage user access and permissions for applications and databases.
  • Conduct system testing to ensure functionality, performance and stability.
  • Monitor and optimise database performance.
  • Support IT audits, Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and compliance activities.
  • Ensure adherence to IT policies, security standards and best practices.
  • Provide backup support for IT systems and infrastructure.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline, with at least 5 years of application and database support/administration experience.
  • Experience with and SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI) is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and scripting languages.
