As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Manage and grow client relationships by handling enquiries, conducting follow‑ups, and actively cross‑selling or upselling Foreign Worker Medical Insurance and Security Bond products to existing clients.
- Support new business conversion by identifying opportunities, explaining coverage, pricing, and benefits (via phone, email, or walk‑in), and assisting clients through policy selection and closure.
- Handle policy renewals and servicing by following up on policies due for renewal, preventing coverage lapses and coordinating renewals, endorsements and new policy issuance.
- Process and issue policies accurately by preparing quotations, premium and benefit comparisons and submitting complete documentation.
- Maintain proper records and documentation by updating renewal listings, client databases and ensuring accurate record‑keeping in internal systems and folders.
- Provide operational and team support by assisting with claims follow‑ups, supporting ad‑hoc projects to improve processes or systems and carrying out other assigned duties to meet business objectives.
Requirements:
- Minimum educational qualification: Diploma
- Required certifications: BCP, PGI, ComGI, HI
- At least 2 years of experience in the insurance industry
